1000 star work very respectable I got frustrated. They told me what the problem was after they fixed the original problem now my security light is off and I have no lights on my dashboard. Thanks to them. I would refer anyone to them. Great quality work.

I came back to Doug with A charging problem in my vehicle after he had installed my alternator. I called the day before and was told by a young lady on the phone. His schedule was open today and to have it there early. I arrived 45 minutes before opening and spoke with Doug. His attitude was horrible. He seemed angry and bitter. Told me to leave the keys and if he can’t get it today, maybe I can have it sometime tomorrow.. I explained to him I did not want to leave the car Overnight because of some very expensive stereo equipment I have installed in the vehicle. This shop is in the hood and the neighborhood is crime-ridden. I felt I had every right to be concerned about my vehicle safety.. I believe this shop has the skill and the knowledge to do this work, but it seems to me they’re bitter and burnt out and should’ve retired years ago. If they’re gonna stay in the customer service industry, they should practice better customer service skills. after voicing my concern, I was told to leave and come back tomorrow. This is my second experience with this business, and I was hoping his attitude would be different this time. I will be taking my business elsewhere and advise others to do

PLEASE READ!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO DOUG LENZ AUTO ELECTRIC! READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, AND LISTEN! THEY DON’T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR! I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO “BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU”! I had my vehicle a (BUICK LACROSSE) towed to “DOUG LENZ” on JULY 7th. I was then left a voicemail by DOUG EMPLOYEE on JULY 9th stating the diagnosis, and the fees of $1283.73! I was told that the “ECM” needed to be replaced! I returned the call that same day, and told them to proceed with the LABOR! I waited a few days, and called them to see if the vehicle was ready. I WAS TOLD THE “ECM” THAT THEY HAD ORDERED WAS NO GOOD, AND THEY HAD TO ORDER A NEW ONE! I WAITED A FEW DAYS, AND CALLED AGAIN… SAME ANSWER! I CALLED THEM AGAIN AFTER WAITING WEEKS, AND HAD TO ASK THEM TO PLEASE CALL ME WITH UPDATES! I WAS THEN TOLD THEY HAD OTHER WIRING ISSUES, BUT THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF IT FREE OF CHARGE! MONTHS HAS GONE BY, AND I REACHED OUT AGAIN ON OCT 20th TO SEE IF THE VEHICLE IS FINALLY READY! I WAS HOPING FOR GOOD NEWS! I WAS THEN TOLD BY “DOUG” HIMSELF THE OWNER, “COME GET YOUR VEHICLE. I’M DONE WORKING ON IT. I NO LONGER WANT IT AT MY SHOP. IF YOU DON’T COME GET THE VEHICLE, IT WILL BE IMPOUNDED”! I

Stopped by last week needing a pulley for an alternator for my boat. Doug (the D I assume) is no nonsense, super helpful, and totally saved my day. Will def use again if I’m the area and may even travel to Daytona if I need something. Highly recommended!!!

UPDATE: Not even 2 weeks after having my car diagnosed and fixed there. I’m stuck with the exact same problem except now it won’t even start and we are stuck in a parking garage. We called this place when it messed up again and the man that answered said that he fixed the problem. Clearly he didn’t. At all. Or myself. My husband. And our kids wouldn’t be stuck. He does not at all guarantee his work. 10/10 do not recommend. He said it was the throttle body. Which we had already replaced. So it was confusing to me why he thought it would be the throttle body. Turns out it isn’t at all the throttle body
